This hands-on, practical course is ideal for beginners ready to start their own woodworking project. Work at your own pace on a piece of your choosing, with guidance from an experienced tutor.

In the first session, you'll complete a safety briefing and discuss your project ideas. You won’t need to bring anything except an outline or images of what you'd like to make. Past projects have included coffee tables, bookcases, games, beehives, stools, plant stands, and more.

Please note:

• Materials (timber, nails, glue, sandpaper, etc.) are not included in the course fee

• Recycled timber is not permitted

• Tools are provided for use during the course

• You must be able to carry your project to and from the workshop each week

Participants should wear comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes and jewellery that will not get caught in any machinery.
